INDICATIONS
-Prevention of the occurrence of neural
tube defects in susceptible mothers.


-Prophylactic treatment of Megaloblasticanaemia



DOSAGE


SYRUP: 2.5mg/5ml
TABLET: Folic Acid BP. 5mg
FOR DAILY MAINTENANCE:
CHILDREN (1-7 YEARS): 2.5mg
One tea spoonful (5ml)



ADULTS:
SYRUP: One table
spoonful (10ml)


TABLET: 5mg daily or as
directed by the physician
